For more than 10,000 women from nearly every Jewish community in the world, Machon Chana has given unmatched spiritual sustenance through a learning experience that literally changed lives forever. Just ask any alumna. Whether she stayed for a month, a semester, a year, or two years, who didn't absorb the richness and vitality that only the Rebbe, Chassidus, and an unbelievably devoted staff so lovingly gave?!
The Machon Chana Alumnae Association and this website are designed with the goal of giving each Machon Chana alumna the opportunity to stay in touch or reconnect with the school and the people who made such a profound impact at such an important time in her life. It often takes a lot of strength, sensitivity and self-sacrifice to integrate what one learned in Machon Chana with a life at home, school, or work. Through these two vital links - the association and the website -- we hope to provide our alumnae around the world with an unbreakable, dependable link to the school and the wellsprings of Torah that can nourish a soul no matter where she lives.
Celebrating 30 years- Going from Strength to Strength
Having reached the exciting 30 year milestone, many new programs have been initiated to facilitate further growth and learning as well as expanding our networking opportunities.
New Projects
To ensure our continual learning, Machon Chana is extending the Yeshiva beyond its walls by setting up Tele-Conferencing Learning. You can be back in the classroom together with friends without leaving your home. And to share ideas, bring up issues and seek advice with friends and mashpiim, Alumnae can log on and join the Alumnae Yahoo Group.
We are gathering data for the Alumnae Family Album which will bring us all together (in more ways than one) as well as for a Networking Resource Book which will be accessible to all alumnae and help us connect, find each other and know where to turn to for what.
To make this all happen we need you, your talents and your time. Ideas are great, but without people that care participate they cannot happen. Though we are all busy, we can try to contribute in some way, and though we are far flung, modern technology has made communication easy and inexpensive.
We are looking for women to run each of the projects above and others to help out on committees. and.
To most fully benefit from all of our activities, be sure to submit an on-line application to join the association and fill out the questionnaire to help us plan future programs with you in mind. Additionally, every alumna is encouraged to visit our website regularly for exciting updates.
