Part-Time Learning Program

Machon Chana offers part-time learning throughout the year for those who are unable to attend full-time yeshiva. Short-term or daily classes are available for women of all ages and levels of learning and commitment within the framework of our regular Yeshiva Program. One can choose courses according to subject matter or to fit into their time schedule.  Classes are held between 8:30 AM- 3:00 PM daily from September through June at our Crown Heights, Brooklyn campus. One can also join our Chevrusa (partnered one-on-one learning) two evenings a week.

Elul and Tishrei Program

With the beginning of the school year coinciding with the traditional time of preparation for the New Year in the month of Elul and the holiday season throughout the month of Tishrei, Machon Chana offers a special curriculum during our regular daytime schedule to give students the practical knowledge and spiritual inspiration needed to make this special time of year as fulfilling and enriching as possible. Classes such as Halacha, Book of Our Heritage, Machzor and Tefilla offer practical why's and how-to's, historical and philosophical background, and spiritual insights. Various Chassidus courses (Yom Tov according to Chassidus, Discourses, Sichos [in-depth talks of the Lubavitcher Rebbe] offer a deeper understanding and more soulful dimension of each holiday and the season in general. Some of our year-round curriculum is also offered, including Chumash classes to work on skills. Classes can be attended on a full-time or part-time basis.

Elul/Tishrei Calendar and Daily Schedule

 

YeshivaCation

Coinciding with the college winter and spring breaks, Machon Chana offers ten- to fourteen-day intensive learning in Crown Heights. The program includes two Shabbatons and an in-depth week-long journey for both beginners and advanced. The program includes textual learning, symposiums, lectures, hand-on workshops and skill-building classes. One can join for the full program, or come for a week, a day, a Shabbaton, or an evening lecture.
